Victora Auto Pvt. Ltd. was incorporated on July 26, 1991, but its origins can be traced to the founding of the Victora Group in 1972 by Gambhir Singh Banga.   • 1972: Gambhir Singh Banga founded Victora Tools Engineers Pvt. Ltd. (VTEPL) in Faridabad, Haryana, which originally supplied sheet components to the Escorts Group. This marked the beginning of what would become the Victora Group.
  • 1991: The company was formally incorporated as SDL Private Limited in Faridabad.
  • 2011: The company's name was changed twice: first to Victora SDL Private Limited in May and then to the current name, Victora Auto Private Limited, in July.
  • Today: Victora Auto is the flagship company of the Victora Group. It has grown into a leading global manufacturer of automotive components, with over 20 manufacturing facilities across India and a presence in 19 countries.
