While the Vishwakarma Group's origins trace back to 1984, official records show that the private limited company, Vishwakarma Automotive Pvt. Ltd., was incorporated on June 18, 1999. 

Biography and history

  • Early years (1984-1999): The Vishwakarma Group began as a foundry and machining company in 1984, led by Chairman Praveen Jhamb. It initially supplied tractor manufacturers like Eicher Tractors Ltd. and Escorts Ltd..
  • Expansion (1999-2011): The company expanded its client base to include New Holland Tractors in 1999 and moved its machining unit to the Ballabgarh Industrial Area in 2005. It also started manufacturing steering and suspension components for the aftermarket under the brand name "RSE".
  • Backward integration (2011 onwards): In 2011, the company acquired Pranshu Appliances Pvt. Ltd. and started a new, larger machining and casting plant to secure its raw material supply through backward integration.
  • Diversification: The company has since expanded its product portfolio to include precision-turned and sheet metal components, grey cast iron, and ductile iron machined castings.
  • Key promoters: The Vishwakarma Group is promoted by experienced industry veterans, including Praveen Jhamb, Ashwani Kumar, and Rajinder Kumar.
